Strawberry Shortcake Improv {WFMW}

I realize that my last two Works for Me Wednesday posts have been food related.  FYI: that's not a requirement for WFMW, it's just what is working for me.  For the past 2 weeks.  And always, really.

I love strawberry shortcake.  Sadly, I have plenty of strawberries currently on hand (on sale), but no shortcake.  I've also been too lazy to make Bisquick shortcake, though it is delicious.

My improvisation is to take some of my kiddos mini Nilla wafers (sorry, dude), put them in a bowl, and top them with strawberries and whipped cream.  Mmmmmmmmmmm.

It definitely works for me.
