My Ode to Tuesday TV Time {NBC's Parenthood}

I love watching TV.  If you know me, that's no secret.  I can remember always loving it.  Sesame Street when I was a wee little girl.  Then it was The Cosby Show when I was school age.  There has been 90210, Seinfeld, The Sopranos, Big Love, Law & Order, The Office, The Real Housewives,  and so many other quality television programming.

Last year I discovered another TV time gem: Parenthood.  Tuesday nights on NBC.  I have invested in many other shows, but this one is different.  I can't go one episode without shedding tears.  Crying.  Sobbing.  Gasping for breath.  Wailing.  It's epically pathetic, I know.  But, it's what I love about the show.  It's so real, so well written, so well acted, and so heartbreaking at times that you can't help but relate with the characters, sympathize, empathize, and yes, cry.

I love this show!  Maybe you already do, too.  If not, check it out, and you will start loving it.  And please tell me you cry, too.

  2. I TOTALLY CRY TOO!

    And the thing about it is, I can't decide which of them I identify more with. Julia, for being a career-mom and the guilt that goes along with it. Christina, for wanting to be there for everyone and losing a little piece of herself for it. Sarah, for not giving herself enough credit and always having a little self-doubt.

    Yes, I adore the show. Maybe it's also the constant chaos that I identify with- I don't know. All I know is they hit the nail on the head with this one!
