Crazy Busy, Crazy Fun

Last week was Hell Week Lutheran Schools Week.  I'm not a Lutheran, but I play one on TV  teach at a Lutheran School  We celebrated our Lutheran-ness all week with TONS of activities.  All this crazy fun made for one exhausted teacher.  Here is a taste of what we did....

Monday: (Belated) Celebration of Read Across America Day; Field Day Team Meeting

Tuesday: Class Unity Day (our theme was TIE DAY); Book Fair preview; Faculty vs. 8th grade softball game (I ran from home plate to 1st base and I'm still sore. Can we say out of shape?!); Open House that evening until 8:30pm

Wednesday:  Chapel Day and Crazy Hat Day

Thursday:  Book Fair shopping; Field Day (my team won!)

Friday: Spirit Shirt Day; Parents Day (moms & dads came for lunch with their student and an art project)

Saturday: Spring BBQ 3pm-7pm (I was there at 2pm to help set-up)

Whew!  What a week it was.  But in all the craziness and busy-ness there was a lot of fun and a lot of school spirit.  The life of a teacher...It's not always glamorous, but it's always interesting.

On the agenda for this week...doing all the things that were left un-done in my home and getting ready for SITS Bloggy Bootcamp in San Diego, CA.  More crazy fun.  Yes, I'm going, and yes, I'm beyond excited!
